ELECTRIC PRESS KIT, groupe de la région Parisienne, pratique une musique sombre et bruyante dans une veine post punk. L'instrumentation est basée sur des guitares, une basse, une boite à rythme, parfois des synths... Les influences sont multiples, mais souhaitées distanciées afin d'envisager un son original et un style personnel. Elles sont européennes et proviennent du post punk (Joy Division, Killing joke, Siglo XX, Dance Society…) ou américaines avec le Noise rock et dérivé (Unsane, Drunk with guns, Sonic Youth, Swans, Big black…). Le 2 ème album d'ELECTRIC PRESS KIT, 'Torsions', est paru au format disque compact sur le tout nouveau label français Blu_crush Records, le 18 mai 2011 . En Décembre 2010 est paru " Re-Released 96-06 ALBUM " qui est composé de titres ré enregistrés d'Electric press kit et disponible en libre téléchargement sur les sites des Netlabels Earsheltering et Vault 106 .

There are not a lot of bands like ELECTRIC PRESS KIT. With a constant line-up since many years, Emmanuel D. (composer, Guitarist and vocalist) and Jeff J (bass guitar), these two musicians inspired by the work of non-common bands like Throbbing Gristle, Joy Division, Sonic Youth, Killing Joke, plays a very personal music, an explosive cocktail of industrial, post-punk and cold wave ingredients. With abrasive guitars, tortuous basses and disincarnate vocals, ELECTRIC PRESS KIT is like no other bands. They made their own music and their own universe. After many demos on tape and cdr, ELECTRIC PRESS KIT finally released their first album, "ANALOGIC" on the independent label "LES DISQUES DE LA CRYPTE" in 2006. 10 tracks of sonic torture mixed with a deaf rage with a straight production. To see ELECTRIC PRESS KIT alive is a shock treatment. An huge wall of sound that will electrify your brain for eons. Don't hesitate to contact the band for a concert, they're waiting for it ! ELECTRIC PRESS KIT also collaborate with many bands for remixes and split-cd, appear in many independent compilations and tributes. These days the EPK band is composing the tracks for a new album on BLU-CRUSH RECORDS (release : may 18th 2011).
